Welder, Fabrication, tig.Our Client, a metal production company based in Abingdon, is looking for 3 welders to join their production team during a busy period for fabrication of stainless steel and aluminium medical equipment.
As Welders you will be required to weld and tack to coded standards. Initial training will be given and upon completion you may be required to transfer to either Late or Night shift (if available).
The successful candidate should have either an Engineering Apprentice or equivalent training in Engineering. You must be able to utilise power and hand tools such as drills, jigsaws, pneumatic clamps, etc. You must be able to work to production targets - Quality, Cost, and Delivery. You should have a clear understanding of Quality & H&S Awareness, be computer literate (Microsoft/data input), have the ability to read technical drawings and be able to work strictly to operational procedures. You will be required to perform a Trade Test at interview stage to demonstrate your skills. Previous experience in a factory production environment and the use of an over-head crane is desirable.
