Description
Global Finance Change Project Manager
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading, managing and driving delivery of system change & process enhancements and re-engineering to meet developing requirements across the Group Finance.
- Relationship management with Group Finance stakeholders globally, regional project managers and business analysts.
- Must also possess the ability to prioritize effectively, manage stakeholder expectations successfully, and apply programme management standards to a number of initiatives that often are managed in Tandem.
- Management without authority. Being able to influence others to align them towards the project goals.
- Demonstrate the ability to collaboratively work with stakeholders to communicate goals, success criteria, performance measures and setting the climate for success in project and business initiatives.
Technical Skill Requirements
- In-depth Finance background
- Understands the full project life cycle from requirements through to implementation
- Well-developed project management, interpersonal, organizational, negotiation, problem-solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of formal project management methods eg Prince 2
Educational Requirements
- Graduate with good honours degree
- ACA or other accounting qualification
- Postgraduate education eg MBA a plus but not essential
- Prince 2 or other Project Management certification a plus
Personal Skills Requirements
- Dynamic and willing individual with good interpersonal, leadership and influencing skills
- Solution orientated. Strong communications skills at all levels
Required Work Experience
- Track record of delivering projects through complete project life cycle
- Demonstrated experience of large scale project implementations involving IT and significant process change
- Experience of dealing with senior management with a leading consulting firm within financial services
