The Symantec incident responder’s responsibility is to manage the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) incident management processes including reporting, remediation and metrics to ensure operational efficiency of a customer’s Symantec DLP program. The incident responder identifies incidents, escalations and remediation steps for all violations against corporate security policy within the customer’s environment. The incident responder will work closely with the client’s project team to respond to all high severity violations within the agreed upon service level. In addition, the incident responder will provide policy tuning details based upon analysis of false positive and true positive incidents captured by the solution that will enhance, expand and mature the customer’s DLP security initiative.
