Interim NHS Project Manager - London
part time - (2 days per week)

An NHS client of mine has an interim requirement for a contractor with experience of Mental Health Trust Services, in particular Dementia. The trust look after a number of day care hospitals and are looking for support with a review for day hospital services that offer support to people with dementia.
To be considered for selection, the contractor should have experience of the following:
- At minimum a good working knowledge of best practice in relation to responding to the health and social care needs of people with dementia and their carers.
- Significant experience of working as a practitioner at senior level in a health or social care setting.
- Significant experience of leading major reviews.
- Experience of developing and writing commissioning reports or similar eg action-plans, commissioning intentions etc.
- The ability to develop and manage partnerships and to facilitate partnership structures.
- The ability to communicate with senior clinicians and practitioners and managers, frontline staff, service users and their carers and to make recommendations to meet specialist communication needs.
- The ability to communicate with senior commissioners, chief officers, councillors and Non-executive Board members.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, including use of MS Office suite, PowerPoint and desirable skills in Visio. Further desirable skills in understanding of and skills in project management - Prince 2 an advantage but not a requirement.
- An understanding of the legal, political and economic context of the review and to have the ability to respond to this appropriately.
