Financial Analyst - Financial Services
Core Purpose of the Role:
- To provide commercially focused financial and business analysis for the finance workstream of a change programme.
- To undertake some project management requirements.
Accountabilities:
- Support the workstream in overall delivery of programme.
- Support the workstream in development of market valuation models and calculation of Market Values for a range of product types.
- Support the workstream in development of transfer pricing agreements.
- Provide support in the preparation of a range of ad hoc financial analysis
- Ensure workstream risks are identified and mitigated, minimising risk to the organisation, and maximising quality and timeliness of all deliverables.
- Work with stakeholders across a range of business functions throughout Europe, undertaking a range of data gathering exercises.
Key Capabilities/Skills:
- Qualified accountant with financial services experience.
- Very strong stakeholder management skills; offering support and challenge to the proposals of others.
- Strong ability to analyse and interpret complex information in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Good knowledge of banking products and terminology.
- Good knowledge of project management disciplines, standards and processes, including formal project methodologies.
