Practicus is currently partnering with an NHS Trust, supporting them with the engagement of an Interim Facilities Manager - Turnaround.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to join an NHS Trust in the South East that is currently going through a major transformation programme in line with their QIPP agenda. A key part of this role will be identifying and delivering cost improvement initiatives across the facilities arena.
The successful interim will have Facilities Management experience within the NHS (specifically an acute environment) and will have a track record of delivering cost improvement initiatives. This will include all Soft & Hard facilities such as catering, cleaning and portering, as well as environmental, waste and transport. Stakeholder engagement and management will be key to the successful delivery of this assignment.
The right person must also be a commercial, assertive self starter who can work on their own initiative with limited hand holding and be able to quickly establish a good rapport with colleagues and peers. As mentioned above, a proven track record of delivering Cost Improvement initiatives and/or working on the delivery of QIPP agendas is essential for this role.
