Our client in Mayfield Village, OH is currently seeking an IT Project Spec Consultant for a 6 month contract opening.

Manager to assist with Testing Transformation Project. The Testing Transformation Project is an IT-wide initiative with a focus on advancing Progressive's testing capabilities, defining how, what and when testing occurs. This is a working management role in that the candidate will not be responsible for managing others on the project, but instead will be a contributing member of a team of managers responsible for implementing the new approach to testing in Progressive IT.

Responsibilities include:
Working collaboratively with management team on rolling out new approach to testing.
Coaching Service, Project and Resource Managers in the field on new testing practices.

The right candidate will:
Possess an expertise in testing techniques and best practices, and understand how to use modern technology to test IT applications and services.
Have experience managing enterprise programs or large projects, and managing testing teams or the testing activities of a project.
Understand how testing and changes to testing practices will integrate with existing processes (eg, SDLC, SDM and ITIL).
Have outstanding coaching skills, both in a group setting and one-on-one.
Understand organizational change management and influencing change.
Be politically savvy and understand how to manage from the side.
Be an excellent communicator, comfortable with presenting to senior and executive managers, and creating polished written documents, presentations and diagrams.
Be a good fit with Progressive's culture, understanding how to drive for results and influence others without alienating, and possessing a strong collaborative leadership style.

Ex-Director or prior Big 4 Consulting experience a plus. Testing expertise absolutely necessary.
