Description
Based within the Electronic Design Centre of Excellence in Cheltenham, this role will help move and expand the business capability abroad. You will come into contact with issues surrounding ITAR/Export control and you must be able to address and resolve potential issues that arise.
Activities include:
Essential:
* An understanding of, and ability to apply, project management techniques
* Understanding of Business processes around Electronic/Mechanical design
* Able to Identify Infrastructure (IT, finance and organisational) issues, when processes operate across international boundaries.
* Experience in one area from: programming, systems analysis, business analysis or business process analysis.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Excellent team working and influencing skills.
* Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
* Flexible work style, ability to work under pressure and must be able to work on own initiative.
Desirable: Knowledge of/experience with:
* Electronics design.
* Electronic or Mechanical CAD packages.
* Working within a large organisation.
* Project Lifecycle Management (PLM), Project Data Management (PDM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications.
* Formal project management methodologies.
* IT projects.
