Technical MODAF Architect required for a long term contract role that runs until 31st march 2013! - call Rich to discuss
As a MODAF architect your role will involve developing ISTAR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance) Systems Concepts across the Direct, Collect, Process, and Disseminate (DCPD) Intelligence cycle and across all the Defence Lines of Development.
rates for this role come in at around £400 to £500 per day depending on experience. You will be required to hold a minimum of SC security clearance, if you do not then please familiarise yourself with the vetting process before applying.The architectures will be developed using the MODAF (Ministry of Defence Architectural Framework) and the MOOD tool. The position requires an expert architect able to work closely with the military and technical staffs to collate the necessary information to enable the development of the relevant MODAF views to represent the 'As-Is' and the 'To-Be' instantiations of the systems concepts. The systems concepts will need to be fully documented to enable traceability to the methodology employed, key decisions taken, the issues, etc for future reference.
Essential Criteria
- Security clearance - SC
- Expert knowledge of MODAF and its application
- Expert knowledge of using the MOOD tool
- Able to work with minimal supervision and in close association with the military and technical staff
- A track record of delivery
Desired Criteria
- A good understanding of Systems Concepts
- Understanding of ISTAR DCPD process
- Understanding of the DLODS
