A Senior Summit Support Analyst is required for a fast paced and interesting Global Investment Bank. The position will be based in London and will offer a very exciting Salary. The Client is regarded as one of the most energetic, competitive and fast paced places to work; expanding whilst the competition is shrinking. The client is requiring solid Summit experience with functional knowledge of cash equities and electronic trading including DMA, Algorithmic and portfolio trading. Some exposure to technologies such as: C#, Java, SQL server would be preferential, however not necessary. Located in the heart of the city, you will be right in the centre of the communications hub at Liverpool Street. Excellent transportation, only a 2 minute walk from Moorgate Tube station, as well as being in the heart of London’s exciting financial district.My client is looking for a Senior Summit Support Analyst who has experience with:
· Support and maintenance of the Summit trading system and other applications.
· Trading, pricing, P&L, funding, cash flow, risk calculation & management of various derivatives.
· High exposure to interest rate products whilst working on the system.
· Exposure to C/C++, Java programming, Unix O/S and Shell scripting, SQL (Sybase and Oracle), Perl scripting, Development and Support for Summit financial/trading software. TCP/IP Network programming will also be favored.
You must have:
· Relevant work experience in Summit Support and successful delivery of solutions and technical analysis within Summit Derivatives and trading.
· Experience in the design and implementation of Summit Solutions.
· Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, physics, business or related field.
Responsibilities:
· Day to Day technical support of the Summit trading system and other systems used by the group.
· Assessing issues when or before they arrive
· Acting as a first point of call for issues concerning the system
· Oversee the development of project deliverables in order to meet project objectives.
