A major Semiconductor organisation within The Netherlands has a long term contract requirement for an Electromechanical Design Engineer to join their Electronic department. As the successful Electromechanical Designer you will be responsible for creating technical product documentation (TPD) and electromechanical designs for tools and racks. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electromechanical Design Engineer to work with a market leading organisation that has a large focus on innovation and creativity within the Semiconductor Industry.Role and Responsibilities:
. 2D and 3D CAD design of various environmental electronics products (cables, racks, cabinets, connection boxes and plates, flex print designs...)
. Adapt TPD for miscellaneous measurement products
. Maintain high quality level by organising reviews of own work and participating in reviews from other designers
. Contribute to work breakdown and planning for the various environmental electronics products adjusted with other stakeholders
Ideal Level of Experience:
. Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (with an affinity for Electrical Engineering)
. Ideally at least 3 years experience as a designer, including experience with multidisciplinary design
. Experience with 2D and 3D CAD design of complex products
. Broad technical knowledge of cabling and connectivity concepts
Candidates will need to demonstrate:
. Free movement around the European Community
. Excellent organisational skills accompanied with high communication skills
. Ability to work under own initiative and good social skills
. Fluent communication in Dutch and English in speech and in writing
