DESCRIPTION:

The successful applicant will be joining a team and liaising with both internal and external teams (from developers, BSAs, SMEs, project managers to support teams). In addition, this individual will be responsible for leading and executing all aspects of the QA testing process.

Are you a proven individual who possesses experience leading Test Planning Activities, Test Preparation Activities and Test Execution for a large financial services firm? If so, this will be an ideal opportunity for you to make your mark. Capital Markets experience is a requirement for this role.

Requirements:

• Computer Science/Engineering degree and/or Masters or equivalent
• 7+ Quality Assurance
• 5+ years as QA Test Lead (lead up to 10 people)
• 2+ years QA experience on Capital Markets Trading Applications - order management, electronic trading, equities, Fixed Income, derivatives
• Strong SQL database skills (queries, data extraction, tables, scripts)
• Strong leadership, negotiation skills, dedicated, enthusiastic
• Strong vendor management skills
• Works independently
• QA Methodologies
• Strong Microsoft technologies
• Strong in MS Excel
• Manual testing
• System Integration and Validation
• UAT
