Description
Position: Sr. ETL Developer
Location: Toronto
Possible travel to Candian cities: Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary
SKILLS:
Minimum of five years of ETL experience working in an IT environment participating in Business Intelligence/Datawarehouse projects.
REQUIRED:
- Able to translate ETL requirements and processes into detailed designs that are modular and maximize re-use.
- Experience developing enterprise ETL Solutions as a part of team of architects, developers, and data modelers.
- Hands-on experience with BusinessObjects Data Integrator or Informatica PowerCenter.
- Recent experience installing SAP BusinessObjects Data Integrator or Informatica PowerCenter
- Experience in a customer-facing, consulting role.
- Knowledge and experience with relational and dimensional databases including Oracle and SQL Server.
- Expert knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL.
- Working knowledge of best practices ETL Architecture and Design.
- Able to size ETL Server Based on current and future requirements.
- Should be able to work as an individual contributor or member of a team.
- Experience leading a team of 3 to 5 ETL developers
DESIRED:
- Installed SAP Business Objects Edge/Enterprise.
- Experience of ETL Projects with SAP as a data source would be a plus.
- Experience in knowledge transfer and writing technical design documentation.
- BI Concepts including OLAP, cubes, etc.
- Bilingual in English and French.
