Our client in Westminster, CO is currently seeking an Internet/Web Systems Administrator for a 3 month contract opening.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Responsible translating business requirements into Internet/Web architecture to achieve business objectives. Analyzes assigned specifications; plans, designs, and develops solutions that utilize appropriate Internet/Intranet/Extranet architecture processes; and supports a wide range of content - either individually or in concert with project team members. Provides appropriate documentation for object design decisions, estimating assumptions, Applets, and performance metrics - as required by organization architecture process standards, or as assigned. Responsible for minimizing the issues between the client and the server applications and for the overall set-up and design of the Internet and Web server architecture. Acts as a key participant in the evaluation of new products and services. Develops and documents enterprise-wide Internet/Intranet/Extranet architecture standards and processes.

WORK EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES
- 7 or more years of IT work experience with demonstrated knowledge in architecture design, software development, database management
systems and systems integration in multi-platform environments.
- Extensive experience with HP blade infrastructure, VMWare architecture, Citrix and the Microsoft Platform.
- Expert level experience with IIS, load balancing and/or web hosting
- Extensive experience with SQL Databases, Database Clustering (multi node)
- Detailed understanding of networking, network security, SAN and datacenter technologies.
- Proven background supporting high traffic business applications.
- Experience in financial, health care or insurance a plus
- Open source/Linux knowledge a plus.
- Proven track record with architecting infrastructure solutions.
- ITIL, HIPAA, FFIEC or other regulatory knowledge a plus
- Must have a detail oriented approach to problem solving.

EDUCATION GUIDELINES
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline. Or equivalent work experience.

Lead/expert level role. Defines and discerns key aspects of problems that require analysis and research, and develops integrated solutions within a broad technical and business context of significant or strategic impact. Defines Web architectures and design across the enterprise for systems that have a significant impact to the business. Works on varied, highly complex projects/issues that require expertise in multiple technical environments and specific business area(s). Recognized as an expert internally and often provides strategic direction, guidance and integration of products and services. Works on one or more projects as a project team member or often as a project lead and subject matter expert. May coach and/or mentor more junior technical staff.
