Microsoft Access Developer, MS Access, Data, Programmer
My NHS client requires an Microsoft Access 2007 Developer/Programmer. The successful candidate will be a solid MS Access 2007 Programmer/Engineer with a minimum of 3 years commercial experience, to conduct maintenance activities against an existing MS Access 2007 implementation.
Essential Skills
· Review and advise on the existing implementation
· Amend the existing MS Access 2007 database as per client’s specs
· Import data into Access from Data files.
· Export data from Access to Data files
· Prepare a number of reports in Access.
· VBA programming experience
· Good communication skills since he or she has to interact with users from other countries
· Conduct query optimisation on some of the queries already implemented.
· Aid in the rollout/release of the new version in a distributed model supported through the creation of installation packages.
· Aid in the early lifecycle support of the new version to resolve initial issues and defects.
· Work within an already successful team
Deliverables:
Report detailing the existing MS Access 2007 implementation design and architecture
Conducted the defect resolutions to the agreed standard
Conducted requirement gathering exercises as and when necessary with the client
Document the changes necessary to fit the clients requirements relative to the existing baseline
Provide a handover to existing application support engineers.
