CAD (Pro-E) Expert job #2725 – Akron/Canton, Ohio
Local Canton area manufacturer is seeking a Pro-E Expert to fill a Contract position. The qualifying candidate will be expected to provide technical expertise on specific CAD applications while working with CAD Users to resolve problems.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily management of the global CAD software application system, resolving end user issues.
- Manage the CAD software application and upgrade projects.
- Be aware of new features and changes made in the next releases of the software and its impact on the Business.
- Keeps abreast of new technical developments in the CAD field, recommending implementations and improvements.
- Help evangelize new techniques/procedures/tools to the Users including Senior Engineers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Strong experience in using Pro-E Wildfire.
- 5-7 years Design Engineering CAD/CAE experience working with Design Engineers and Manufacturing personnel.
- Working Knowledge of the Windchill Product Data Management tool is desirable.
- Strong ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Capable of evangelizing the benefits of new tools and techniques and obtaining buy-in from sophisticated users.
