Our client in Westminster, CO is currently seeking an Internet/Web Systems Administrator for a 3 month contract opening.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Responsible for ensuring the control, integrity, and accessibility of the Internet/Intranet for the enterprise. Responsible for change management procedures regarding the installation and testing of all upgrades and enhancements for the Internet/Intranet infrastructure. Responsible for proper initial installation as well as subsequent installations of updates/patches; preparation of system documentation; proactive, regular checks of system components for errors and application of necessary corrective action; set-up and maintenance of Web Servers. Has in-depth knowledge in all levels of Internet/Web security and the associated requirements for their application. May participate in the selection of new tools to administer and secure Internet/Web sites. Provides technical support to internal users and external customers; troubleshoots problems and takes corrective action on a timely, effective basis. Responsible for monitoring and managing Engineer ticket queue. Extensive knowledge of VMWare infrastructure architecture and the Microsoft Windows Server family of products. Will be responsible for deploying code releases for mission critical systems. Must be detail oriented and a fast learner. This position will be working hand in hand with our Sr. Engineering team and will have a great opportunity to expand their skill set.

WORK EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES
- 5 or more years of IT work experience with Web-related software and hardware products.
- 4 or more years of system administration experience with multi-platform environments.
- Detailed knowledge of the Microsoft platform.
- IIS experience, Web application development/support and architectural background a plus.

EDUCATION GUIDELINES
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline. Or equivalent work experience.

BREADTH
Advanced professional level role. Works on medium to large, complex Web sites. Works on multiple Web sites as a project team member or occasionally as a project team leader. May coach more junior technical staff.
