Fabrication Workshop Foreman urgently required to join a rapidly expanding company boasting several large contract wins within the Merseyside region.
Fabricator Workshop Foreman
Duties will include:
Overseeing and managing a team of skilled fabricators, fitters, welders and apprentices
Adhering to deadlines - ensuring work is completed to a high quality and on time
Ensuring production levels and efficiency are maintained at all times
Control of costings within the workshop - eg labour/hours/materials
Producing take offs from technical drawings
Ensuring scrap and errors are kept to a minimum through product quality inspections
Ensure staff are fully productive at all times and implement output targets
Candidates must have experience of working within a fabrication workshop environment at supervisory level and hold a valid CSCS/SCATS card.
A valid IPAF licence would be desirable although not essential
This is a temp to perm position with a salary of £20,000 - £24,000 on offer Dependent on experience
