WA Consultants has an urgent requirement for an experienced Multimedia SW Engineer/Consultant Our client is looking for someone to support their Video Codec processing. They need to enable various new functions and enable the solution to support skype.
The successful applicant will be required to integrate a camera driver, currently running in Linux with V4L, (Android Media package) various API's, Video capture, Audio classes in the android. media package supported using Hardware audio decoding or alternatively via Linux software decoding.
2) On the Graphics side, it will be useful if you have previously worked on some low-level optimisations. The Client is looking at additional optimisations and possible performance improvements. If you have experience with Android 2.2/2.3 graphics internals.......it will be very beneficial.
