Description
Education and Experience Required:
Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 4 years related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
More than 4 years experience writing code using technology to meet business needs
Experience in C programming, UNIX, XML and SQL for large scale, complex systems
In addition to C, Unix, XML and SQL, experience in 1 or more of the following:
*Experience in getters and setters
*Experience in imbedded SQL in a C or other program
*Experience in a large scale transaction processing system
*Experience in large installations of an Oracle RDBMS
*Experience in Unix Scripting
*Experience in .net programming
Other Qualifications:
Experience in Medicaid Management Information Systems a strong plus
Experience on one or more full release project life cycles.
Strong understanding of modern SCM (software configuration management).
Understanding of testing tools and unit and integration test Scripting, and testing methodologies.
Strong understanding of basic Database Administration.
Able to consistently apply quality and security standards.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Developing general project management/team leader skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and with clients.
