Senior ASP.NET Developer: C#, ASP.NET, VS, HTML, CSS, JS
Exciting and new company who has doubled in size and revenue this year has an immediate need for a Senior ASP.NET Developer for a 6+ month contract. This is a highly stable contract opportunity, as the company has an extensive pipeline of work, offers a great work environment, and will provide an opportunity for learning and growth.
As a Senior .NET Developer, you will design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications and components for some of Atlanta's leading brands and companies. You will also support and/or install software applications and components and work from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintain documentation of process flow.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to Visual Studio, ASP.NET, C#/VB.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL Server depending on your background.
- Some local Atlanta car travel (no more than 20%) to client interface, and the right person for this job will enjoy the opportunity to get out of the office.
- Create and deliver data-driven reports
- Design, code and test new Windows and web software applications
- Enhance existing systems by analysing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
- Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
- Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
- Create technical specifications and test plans
- Create new and extend existing operational documentation
- Consult closely with management and occasionally agency staff related to projects and tasks
- Collaborate with colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systems
- Implement new software
Requirements:
- 6+ years C# ASP.NET, CSS, HTML, Javascript
- Strong understanding of SQL
- Ability to communicate professionally
Preferences:
- Sharepoint or Sitecore experience - priority given here!
