Fortune 500 Company and Leader in Mining Equipment Development is in search of an Experience Reliability Engineer for a 1 year contract position in Milwaukee, WI.

Major Responsibilities

1. Perform reliability analyses on client product electrical systems and component field failure data.
2. Lead the development and implementation of Design for Reliability procedures, processes, and tools into our Electrical product development process.
3. Lead in establishing Reliability/Availability/Maintainability (RAM) requirements for major new product development initiatives.
4. Lead development of validation test plans of electrical systems.
5. Lead evaluation activities of RAM verification and validation testing of components and systems.
6. Lead design for reliability (DFR) activities such as: DFMEAs, Reliability Block Diagram analysis, and FTAs, on major product development initiatives.
7. Lead major product issue resolution initiatives as required.
8. Conduct/facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on part failures as required.

Education and Skills

1. BS in Electrical Engineering (MSEE preferred).
2. Minimum years experience in reliability or maintenance engineering. Mining equipment experience highly desirable.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) and P.E. highly desirable.
5. Familiarity with Meridium Reliability Analytics and Spares Analysis software a big plus.
6. Has experience and working knowledge of the following reliability analyses and techniques:
Weibull Analysis
Reliability Growth Analysis (Crow-AMMSA)
RBD
RCM Analysis
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA)
Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Simulation and Analysis

Other Requirements
Position may involve some domestic and international travel (up to 15%).
Must have a valid passport or have no restrictions in obtaining one.
