Our client is a small but successful leisure organisation who currently seek a Head of Marketing to cover sickness, guiding the company through a busy season. The contract will be for a minimum period of one month, with a high chance of extension.
The role involves motivating and managing a small team, ensuring that the marketing plan is adhered to, remaining "hands-on" at all times, attending weekly management meetings, overseeing marcomms campaigns (both online and offline), ensuring activity plans are robust, implementing a new pricing strategy and delivering core promotional activity. A marketing & pricing plan is already in place. This role is more about delivery than strategy. However, the successful candidate will be expected to suggest improvements or changes they deem necessary.
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager, who is "hands-on" in their approach, who has excellent people management skills (including motivation), an assertive and confident "self-starter". The successful candidate will have marcomms campaign management experience, and experience of fast-moving pricing/promotions changes. Industry backgrounds of interest include retail, leisure & entertainments.
