Description
We are seeking an experienced Content Specialist for a 6 month renewable contract located in Atlanta, GA. The Content Specialist will create, manage and enhance the knowledge and information resources that help the company continually improve its customer service capabilities. This role must understand the needs and preferences of the target user audiences (both internal and external) and provide them with high-quality information resources that lead to successful support outcomes. As a critical part of the team, the Content Specialist will contribute to the organizations customer support business objectives by being responsible for improving user experience by achieving quality and productivity goals.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience creating and managing information resources for internal and external user audiences, including FAQs, customer support messaging and scripts, product user guides, technical white papers, and help systems.
Experience Requirements (3 years of experience):
- Technical Writing
- Practical experience FAQ and User Manual Documentation, both print and online
- Must be flexible and have ability to interact with both the staff and management level of the organization
- Writing Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience
- Time Management Managing one's own time and the time of others
- Learning/Training Strategies Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things
- Active Learning Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
