Network Engineer Voice/UC
North Ryde - IMMEDIATE start opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Voice Network Engineer with a heavy emphasis on IPTel and Unified Comms to provide support to our existing network engineers.
In doing so, you will be required to support the following;
- The shared services Network team supporting LAN/WAN and voice services
- Provide strategic direction for scalable and sustainable solutions
- Assist with the review of the technical solutions and effort estimates to ensure correct scoping and service pricing of solutions
- Implementation teams and the customer, providing systems/network design and implementation support to ensure smooth and effective migration to new technology/versions
- Create, maintain and document IT infrastructure related policies, procedures and forms
- Manage, support and maintain the network environment meeting the organizations standards of security, quality, reliability and efficiency
- System analysis, technical design, implementation and maintenance of solutions applied to customer infrastructure incorporating technologies such as network, IP Telephony, security, systems, and storage and wireless solutions
What are we looking for?
Ideally you will be experienced with the following;
- Strong experience in Network Infrastructure design, development and support
- Strong experience in developing and defining network, security and infrastructure standards
- Experience in implementing, supporting and maintaining Cisco devices, Security and network infrastructure in an enterprise environment
- Proven IPTel and Unified Comms experience
- Experience with managing large telco voice deployments and PABX systems
- Knowledge and understanding of current analog and digital voice services such as ISDN, Multiline and PSTN
- Knowledge and understanding of Server/WAN infrastructure
- The ability to write procedural documentation used in the SOE framework
This role is available for an IMMEDIATE start, 3 month initial engagement with the potential to extend for the right candidate.
