Description
Our client has an opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.The main duties will involve the following (but not limited to):
- Effective liaison with project teams and provision of commercial direction
- Maintain compliance with client project management procedures
- Manage variations and claims efficiently to maintain sound commercial arrangements
- Assist with preparation and timely submittal of financial reports, job progress reports and other site performance information as requested by the company and the client
Skills required for the role include: (but not limited to):
- Strong financial and commercial background with Engineering/Quantity Surveying/Finance qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in the estimation, preparation and negotiation of project proposals
- Business experience, preferably with direct commercial responsibility, likely to have been gained in the water or construction industry
- Working knowledge of AS2124/AS4300/GC21 or other equivalent General Conditions of Contract
