Our client is in need of a Support Specialist for the following shift
9:00 AM EDT to 6:00 PM EDT
Skills required/description:
Be responsible for Operating System and other software related issues like installation of Hypervisor, Windows OS, applying patches, VM Manager, VM Setups, installation of software components in VM etc.
The skills that they will be looking for you to have are:
VDI Expertise MS Hyper-V, Citrix Xen App
Storage experience iSCSI based storage experience
Database Experience Some MS SQL experience, since the VDI sits on it
Windows Experience AD, DNS, DHCP experience
Networking VPN, ASA, Cisco Switch/Router knowledge
Helpdesk experience Troubleshooting experience in Windows environment
VMWare Some VMWare expertise to support until we get the full VDI in place.
