STATISTICIAN/ACTUARIAL DATA ANALYST - City of London - 6-12 months minimum contract - Negotiable Daily Rate
My client, a leading insurer based in the City of London, is immediately seeking an Actuarial Data Analyst with a General Insurance background to support the GI actuaries in their Solvency II Internal Model team.
The ideal candidate will in fact be a STATISTICIAN, ideally with some experience of working in Insurance although any market-sector experience will be considered, and have excellent programming skills (C++, Excel, VBA).
So in summary, you should be:
* Either a STATISTICIAN with excellent programming skills (C++, Excel, VBA ideally), any kind of Insurance experience desirable but not essential; OR
* An ACTUARIAL DATA ANALYST with General Insurance experience (Life will be considered) and excellent knowledge of Igloo and/or Algo/VIPitech.
The successful candidate will be offered a minimum 6 month contract (up to 12 months can be negotiated initially).
The listed day-rate is a guideline only and is negotiable depending on experience. This is a fantastic company to work for and they are willing to pay the right money for the right person.
