My client, a leading Insurer is looking for a Pricing Analyst to join the team within Commercial Pricing.
The purpose of the role is to deliver a extremely strategic project expected to last around 6 months: the aim of the project is to move all the existing policies from the Legacy rating engine to a more sophisticated rating engine.
Key Accountabilities:
- Understanding the difference between the two rating engines and carry out impact analysis of migration
- Testing new rates: putting together test cases, investigate discrepancies
- Monitor migration: making sure that the migration process goes as expected, investigating anomalies and manage the percentage of policies to be migrated.
- Set-up a project to point the Legacy policies to the new rating engine.
- Documentation of the new rating algorithm and development of SAS calculators that emulate the rates
Technical Requirements:
- Expertise in different types of programming code eg SAS, VBA
