This position supervises the Business Analysts and the Decision Support Services Group, and is responsible for the provision of value-added research and analysis of core business activities to a variety of internal customers, as directed. This position directs the preparation and dissemination of corporate and trade reports and acts as a liaison with internal and external customers to resolve reporting issues and to implement related enhancements.
As an ideal candidate you will:
Supervise the Business Analysts and the Decision Support Services team by prioritizing and allocating work and providing day-to-day direction.
Participate in selection and provide input to performance reviews of employees.
Identify and facilitate appropriate training for employees.
Provide research and analysis of core business activities in the cargo and cruise sectors. Provides intelligence, information, research support and recommendations to a variety of internal customers, as directed, including port competitiveness assessments, tariff and pricing analysis, and forecast development.
Oversee corporate statistical and trade reporting.
Be responsible for the integrity and timeliness of the above mentioned statistical and trade reports and identifies and implement initiatives, including new EDI partners/initiatives, to improve reporting timeliness and accuracy.
