Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work as a Financial accountant for a major Financial Organisation, on a 6 month contract. The overall job purpose is to prepare all financial aspects of (PIMS Poland), including financial statements, and financial and control requirements for both internal and external parties.
Main responsibilities include:
-Over view of monthly transactions posted for Polish subsidiary
-Reconciliation and maintenance of control accounts
-Maintenance of internal management files
-Agree inter-company balances
-Submission of monthly corporation tax returns based on actual results
-Reconciliations of bank accounts , creditors payment and all cost allocations are posted to the correct departments
-Monthly expense analysis and reporting.
-Assist with preparation of quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process.
-Provide assistance on month-end as required.
-Maintenance of procedural manual for areas of responsibility..
-Assist Internal Audit with any queries/issues that arise, in a prompt and efficient manner.
The ideal candidate will be an (ACA, ACCA, CPA) qualified accountant, with experience of working within the Financial Services Industry. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft is essential, and knowledge of Hyperion is desirable. Any experience in Polish Accountancy would be highly desirable.
