Description
We are seeking to recruit an Interim Financial Manager for one of clients in the public sector. Due to a period of change, they require and experienced candidate to work closely with the Finance Director to assist in the analysis and presentation of financial data and support nationwide change projects that touch the finance department.
This is an initial six-month contract but it is expected that the contract will be extended beyond this period.
Requirements include:
* Collation of Financial data from several sources into one coherent format
* Ensuring that reporting and data collection is coherent with business requirements
* Ensuring the integrity and value of finance data
* Financial modelling
* Reconciliation and analysis financial data
* Experience of finance change projects
Skills and experience required:
* Relevant professional finance qualification
* An understanding of Public Sector Finance
* Experience of data analysis and financial modelling
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* A flexible approach and ability to prioritise workload.
