DESCRIPTIONThe iPad Project - Project Manager will work in a team to determine the feasibility of taking away an individuals laptop and providing them only with an iPad. All of the clients application, data, and infrastructure needs must be met on the iPad.
Responsibilities:
- Test current application profile against the iPad prior to moving forward with a client pilot.
- Execute application test protocols on the iPad, document results and test alternatives when an application does not work natively on the iPad.
- Write a minimal test protocol that would be reviewed and approved by the application owner prior to execution.
- Eliminate redundant applications from testing, assign work to the application test leads, monitor their progress and create and maintain a dashboard for our executive leadership of the overall testing status.
- Escalate issues or potential delays in deliverables in a timely manner in order to minimize surprises.
- Dashboards that the Project Manager creates should be made viewable for the iPad interface.
- 7+ years of advanced analytical skills required.
- Should be able to work on several applications simultaneously, juggling priorities as the markets we are considering are still being determined.
- Must have a laptop computer (Windows XP or MAC OS) with Office 2003 or higher, Microsoft Project 2008 or higher and the latest version of iTunes.
- Experience running and writing testing protocols.
- Knowledge of the iOS operating system for the iPhone and iPad.
- Experience with the Citrix client.
- Experience with browsers other than Internet Explorer (Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, etc.
- Knowledge of the iOS application development language X-Code would be beneficial.
- Must have the ability to follow detailed test plans and document results.
