DESCRIPTION
The Installation, Test, and Acceptance Tester is responsible for the testing of Layer 3 cards, facilities, and Routers, including Cisco and Juniper equipment. Work with outside vendors and technicians testing Routers, cards, and fiber optic cable after initial power up, including end to end testing of facilities. Test various backbone Router and switch types, including CISCO Access, Aggregate, Core, Network Management, Peering, and Special Purpose Routers. This includes Cisco 12416s, 7613s and CRSs as well as Out of Band Network Management Cisco Routers 3845s and 2821s.

Qualifications
  • Must be familiar with testing Router cards: 10GEs, OC3s, OC12s, OC48s, OC192s and OC768s.
  • Working knowledge of DS3 through OC 768 and 1 Gig-10 Gig Ethernet facility testing.
  • Router and Card and Facility Augment Testing experience required.
