DESCRIPTION
The Network Services/Support consultant will provide Firewall administration support for data center consolidation and migration projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the architecture of a client's Firewall and VPN environment based upon review and analysis of security requirements
• Build, configure, and support Firewall and VPN devices from multiple vendors (Check Point, Cisco, and Juniper)
• Support multiple clients simultaneously
• Provide technical leadership within a highly technical team
• Translate client requirements into clear deliverables
• Communicate with customer on a regular basis as part of projects, troubleshooting sessions, etc.
• Communicate with other technical teams regarding Firewall operations
• Troubleshoot traffic passing through Firewalls
• Use packet capture tools to aid in analysis of network issues

Qualifications

• 5 years security/Firewall administration experience including Check Point, Cisco, and Juniper
• Experience defining & implementing security policies
• TCP/IP Networking skills
• Communication skills
• Flexibility to work an alternative schedule (on-call and 12-hour shifts)
