This is an exciting experience Agency. They are focused on the idea of branding through experience rather than marketing. With 1,400 employees globally, they are looking to welcome three C++/OpenGL Developers to join their currently expanding team of 40. Located in Pyrmont, they have exceptional location and a vibrant team.
The Role
As an experienced and passionate C++/OpenGL Developer you will be involved in bringing to life rich custom user interfaces for single and multi-touch screens and devices. You will be working alongside a fun team of experienced developers and report into the Technical Manager.
You will be responsible for executing through code complex designs that reflect the creative direction provided within established frameworks. All C++/OpenGL developers in this team will be involved in the planning and scoping of work and participate in writing detailed level technical and functional documentation.
This is a 4 month contract with attractive rates. Due to the urgency of the role, preference will be given to those who are immediately available. There is, however, three roles available and all are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills/Experience
- Strong commercial experience in C++/OpenGL development
- Solid commercial experience with a UI toolkit such as QT, Cocoa etc
- Experience with alternative modes of interactivity such as Gesture (OpenKinect, OpenCV)
- Strong commercial exposure to a Agile (Scrum) environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with kiosk/touchscreen installations is highly advantageous
- Experience with Arduino highly advantageous
