Description
We have an IMMEDIATE need for an Enterprise Management Software engineer! This is a 6 month (option to extend) contract position located in Denver, CO. Qualified individual will responsibility for design, development, configuration, Unit Testing, and subsystem integration testing for all software.
REQUIRED:
1. 6+ years software engineering experience
2. One of the following is required: 4+ years of experience with HP Openview COTS solutions or 4+ years implementing custom form and data solutions using Rational ClearQuest.
3. Experience working on a Windows 7 and/or Windows Server 2003 or 2008 platform.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
5. Experience with the Microsoft Office suite (eg, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
6. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
7. Self-starter - proactive in determining goals and objectives and pursuing the necessary course of action.
8. Ability to follow established software processes and procedures.
DESIRED:
1. Experience with HP Openview OVOW/OVOU COTS configuration and integration.
2. Experience with HP Openview NNM COTS configuration and integration.
3. 4+ years of experience implementing HP Openview COTS solutions in addition to 4+ years implementing custom form and data solutions using Rational ClearQuest.
4. Previous experience with complex satellite ground systems, particularly previous deployment of developed systems to ground station operations.
5. Experience with Software development tools (Rational Rose, ClearCase).
6. Experience with ground Hardware monitor and control.
7. Thorough understanding of iterative software development life cycle models.
8. Familiarity with structured analysis and design methodologies, OOAD methodologies.
9. Familiarity with organizations operating at or above CMMI Level 3.
EDUCATION:
4 year degree in Engineering, Math, or Science related field.
