Description
A major Tier 1 retail bank is seeking a managerial level candidate to join their function as an IT infrastructure business partner.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record in managing large, complex cost bases of at least £250 million, experience in interacting and working at board level and will have proven experience in complex cost modelling, cost saving and budgeting initiatives.
In addition to being able to advise on all the financial aspects of the strategy of the business area, you will also support the demanding management & planning processes for the annual, three year and five year strategic plans.
The role will involve understanding the key drivers behind an IT cost base the ability to intuitively understand where savings can be made. You would also be involved in calculating the financial benefits of the various projects and any prioritisation that may be needed.
You will:
- Be from a banking background or major blue chip or FTSE 100 company.
- Have a strong understanding of MI, costing and FP&A
- Have a strong personality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be degree educated or equivalent
