My client is a leading global hedge fund specialising in Equity Derivatives. They are looking to take on an experienced C++ developer to join their highly successful and industry renowned team. You will be directly responsible for the development of analytical tools and models for pricing, structuring, PnL and risk calculation within the Equity Derivatives space.
This is a fast-paced and dynamic Front Office role, and so you will have close interaction with quants, strategists and risk management groups. This position would suit someone with an exceptional track record, strong educational background. A strong problem-solving mind is key. You will have the opportunity to work in the Paris or London teams.
The Person C++ Developer (Equity Derivatives) - Leading Hedge Fund - Paris/London
- Expertise in C++ applications on a linux/windows platform
- Expertise in developing high performing applications across the equity derivatives space
- Previous experience working in an investment bank or financial institution
- Strong educational background - BSc, MSc, PhD in a science related subject (Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent)
Responsibilities for the C++ Developer (Equity Derivatives) - Leading Hedge Fund - Paris/London
- Development of analytical models, tools and systems for pricing, structuring, PnL and risk calculation in Python, C++, Excel/VBA
- Liaise directly with quants, strategists and other front desk users within the Equity Derivatives business space
- Work with traders and quants in this fast-paced, Front Office environment, reporting directly to the head of Equity Derivatives
