Description
Server Administration SupportMust be able to
obtain a Medium Public Trust Clearance.
- Microsoft Office, Windows 2000
and XP, UNIX/LINUX, AIX, as well as Internet based applications
experience
- Management and administration LAN networks, Servers, and
client machines.
- Troubleshooting of software, servers, LAN/WAN
connectivity and desktop computer equipment (troubleshooting client server,
networks, and SAN)
- Be able to document issues and resolutions of
incidents to ensure proper resolutions were followed in future cases (Good
Written and Oral Communications Skills are a most)
- Experience with the
Remedy ticket system and change management processes
- Have more than
basic experience in Server Administration, Server Management, Network Protocols,
Microsoft Active Directory, LAN Installation, Network Management, (Experience in
patching and deployments)
- Performing System backup, (Netbackup package)
with experience using Hitachi Universal Replication (HUR) or comparable z/OS
replication platforms
- Have at least some knowledge of Router/Switch
Configuration, Virtual Private Networking
