DESCRIPTION:
Our client requires the services of a VOIP Infrastructure Specialist, to provide deliverables including, but not limited to, the following:
Work on Enterprise Voice Over IP Project
Participate in the evaluation of responses for the Enterprise VOIP RFP
Technical lead for call centre technology and Voice Over IP infrastructure
Work closely with Metrolinx and vendor VOIP Project Management, business, Senior IT Infrastructure Architect, server team, network team, applications development, and IT operations during design and implementation of project
Develop migration plan from existing to new system
Documentation - Build Books and Run Books.
Knowledge transfer to internal subject matter experts and internal technical resources.
Mandatory Project Experience:
The individual must have minimum (6) years experience with VOIP and PBX design and implementation
Experience with implementing Call Centre telephony and IVR systems
Thorough understanding of networking requirements for VOIP implementations
Experience with implementing dual-site fail-over solutions for VOIP infrastructures
Experience with network design required by VOIP systems
Thorough understanding of design required to provide 911 calling and designated waiting intercoms for remote offices
Experience with integration of VOIP systems with Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, and LyncNOTE:
