Senior Operations Manager -Payments - Banking - Glasgow - £500-£600 per day
A leading UK bank requires a Senior Operations Manager to join its team based in Glasgow working on a major global payments programme.
You will be responsible for the delivery of a range of high value, high volume business critical processes through leadership and of departments in single of multiple sites.
You will be accountable for the following key deliverables:
Establishing high performance organisational standards and building robust succession plans and structure.
Planning daily routine for department/site managers and application of high performance business standards to meet or exceed internally agreed targets.
Establish high performance organisation standards through effective performance development standards and measurements.
All aggregate impacts of client daily demand volumes and resource management to achieve BAU success, whilst also working with aspects of demand change requirements in respect of integration, piloting and testing, to achieve an effective outcome.
Ensuring high level or payment industry and process knowledge is acquired and maintained, ensuring successful delivery of operations .
Implement, deliver and monitor regulatory standards to minimize and mitigate business risk.
To be considered you will be an experienced operations manager with comprehensive knowledge of Global Payments operational plans and strategy. You will have proven operational management skills to drive results and excellence and strong leadership and project planning ability.
Understanding and demonstration of ability to manage large operations across multiple sites and change operations to meet business area plans is highly desirable. You will also have proven experience of integration and experience in cost centre and operational risk management. Previous management of online systems would be advantageous.
Knowledge of specific processing products available to meet customer requirements and understanding of business unit policies and strategy is a must.
