Electronics development and documentation Engineer

You will be responsible for maintaining aerospace electronics product design intent throughout its service.
You will act as a focal point both for the design and manufacturing teams and for the customer, ensuring that the product meets design requirements and industry standards.
The role requires strong certification skills so candidates will be expected to have excellent documentation skills

Responsibilities
* Maintaining technical documentation related to the systems and product.
* Working on customer improvement projects.
* Managing and resolving obsolescence issues.
* Managing and reviewing maintainability and reliability data.
* Managing, reviewing and responding to FRACAS information with suppliers, customers and manufacturing cell.
* Dealing with customer enquiries.
* Implementing design improvements.

Key requirements
* Strong analytical skills.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate detailed information both in written and verbal formats.
* Excellent documentation or technical authoring experience.
* Appreciation for electronic design, or hands on hardware design experience.
* Ability to product formal, concise reports.
* Qualified to degree level or equivalent or have significant relevant experience.

Desirable skills
* Experience in aerospace, defence, or other safety critical environment.
* Experience of working in a post design environment.
