Title: Marketing Communications Manager (Channel Partner)
Duration: 6 mos+ (renewable per quarter)
Location: San Jose, CA

We are looking for a seasoned energetic marketing communications expert who works collaboratively with team members to manage development of partner-facing communications and the timelines for those in support of product launch assets/deliverables.

Ideal candidate will be:
- Self-starter with firm understanding of the marketing communications mix
- Has worked closely with executives and decision makers.
- Works well in a group and under pressure managing a variety of projects in parallel.
- Able to lead by influence at and above peer level.
- Well organized and results-oriented.
- Position requires learning issues quickly and identifies compelling themes.

Key Responsibilities

- Planning and tracking all program/launch related assets/deliverables
- Develop trusted partner relationship with Small Business Marcom and Product Marketing/Marketing Programs teams
- Ability to manage the work of external vendors when necessary
- Synthesize internal messages from multiple sources and make relevant for partner audiences
- Act as marketing communications program lead on task forces and cross-functional teams
- Ability to negotiate and influence actions of team members outside team
- Ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically
- Ability to use data to analyze programs and recommend corrections and improvements
- Ability to identify priorities and deliver tangible results using sound business practices
- Ability to innovate and define new tools and practices

Skills Required
- Experience working in agency or account manager roles in marketing environments
- Strong business, communications, project management and operational skill
- Experience developing communications to channels/partner audiences
- Ability to create and deliver presentations that persuade client groups
- Understand branding, copyright, and creative/intellectual property contractual knowledge
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills
- Superior interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills
- Candidate should have a wide level of experience with all variables of the marketing communications mix including, advertising, promotion, web marketing, public relations, sales enablement, product launches and direct marketing

Educational Background
-Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
MBA desirable
