Wily APM Systems Administrator
Our large Energy client is seeking a Wily APM Systems Administrator for a long-term contract position in Charlotte, NC. Candidate will work on the implementation of end to end application monitoring using the CA Wily APM product suite. Candidate will work with application analysts and programmers to design and deploy the APM application suite to monitor designated applications. Responsibilities include installation, configuration and maintenance of CA APM components, documentation of the application monitoring infrastructure, and training for project personnel in the use of monitoring tools for application troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Required Skills:
- Web services development experience
- Demonstrated experience with the installation, configuration and maintenance of CA Wily APM components including NetQoS, SuperAgent, TIM, CEM, Wily Introscope agents (both Windows and Unix environments) and network taps and aggregators.
- Demonstrated abilities in problem isolation, application troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with application development using Java, .Net, and databases (Oracle or SQL Server)
- Experience with both Windows and UNIX operating systems.
- Demonstrated understanding of network architecture and protocols.
- Experience with programming languages, eg Perl, C++ - demonstrated ability to work independently and on cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills including ability to develop and present training to all levels and communicate project status to management and technical resources.
