SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Ten years of related work experience with COBOL, CICS and application programming analysis and design. Must have proficiency with the following software languages: COBOL (II & 370), Command-Level CICS, JCL, and SQL. Must have proficiency with one or more relational databases: Oracle, Sybase, MS Access, Adabas, DB2 or comparable products (preferable DB2). Must have proficiency with VSAM and Sequential files. Must be proficient with Panvalet, TSO. Must know SYNCSORT or comparable product.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Experience with Assembler, Natural, and ADABAS is strongly preferred. Proficient skills in Client Server and data modeling concepts are strongly preferred. Proficiency with Windows 2000 or Windows XP, plus Microsoft Office products is also strongly preferred. Experience with SDSF, SAR, ABEND-AID, FileAid, VIASOFT is desired. Knowledge of electric utility applications (such as Customer Information, Billing, Work Management and others) is also desired. Experience migrating a CIS Legacy system to current technology is desired. Experience with EDI, ClientSoft GUI, and Metavante CSF software preferred.

Provide programming solutions for the design, development, and implementation of computer applications and systems that support the Customer Service Department. Provide technical support and leadership in the form of problem resolution, system operation and maintenance, training, consultation and project management. Additionally, this position provides 24X7 on-call support for the Customer Information System on a rotating schedule. Analyze, evaluate, design, integrate and document computer system solutions to satisfy user requirements and systems design specifications applying established project management guidelines. Occasional unscheduled overtime is required including occasional weekend work for testing new systems and enhancements.
