Our client, known a leading pharmaceutical company, discovers, develops, manufactures and markets a wide range of innovative, value-added pharmaceutical products for both humans and animals around the world. They are seeking a Marketing Director in Nutrition for a 6 month contract at their Berkshire site.
JOB ROLE:
The Marketing Director will develop and drive the overall brand strategy to ensure profitable growth and alignment of resources.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES include:
* Developing and delivering 3-5 year business plan to ensure profitable flow to business
* Developing and delivering overall communication strategy to ensure one brand/one voice
* NPD funnel and strategy to ensure future growth stream
* Responsible for a consumer facing budget of £10m with full mix communications
* Creating annual marketing plan in line with budget process and targets
* Delivering planned activities to time and cost agreed to ensure delivery of short and long term financial and market objectives
* Driving consumer insights and understanding across the UK
* Motivating and developing team as appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
* Extensive consumer marketing experience with extensive ATL exposure
* Multi-faceted brand leadership experience
* Strong commercial understanding and acumen
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Good relationship builder
* Strong analytical skills with proven ability to turn data into insight
* Proven ability to manage and develop large teams
