For one of our end clients we are currently looking for a senior Business Analyst IT Cost Management
Start:
End: (with an option to extend)
Location: The Hague area
Without overall IT knowledge and experience there is no need to respond!
The main objective of the department is to mature the IT processes to assure security and a better governance in investments and operations. Several projects to achieve this objective have been started including revision of the Cost of information management model.
Duties
Review of issues with the source data provided by Finance as input for the IT Cost runs (data quality and data integrity check)
Review the IFRS corrections applied by Finance for the IT costs in the source data (data quality and data integrity check)
Provide support in the evaluation of the business rules that map the cost centre data to the resources (assets + staff)
Responsible for reporting to Finance of all reference data quality issues (recorded in coop with the IT Cost Mgt team) and for defining their cause and impact.
Regular review of the Issue log concerning financial data/cost centre related issues (automatic list eg when cost centres cannot be mapped based on existing business rules)
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
* Sound knowledge of IT Cost Accounting and creating an IT cost accounting model
* Ability to express oneself clearly both orally and in writing in English
* A team-based approach and ability to work on his/her own responsibility
* Ability to work in a multicultural environment
* Thorough knowledge of Excel, and preferably experience with the use of SAP and retrieving data from SAP
* Experience with Management Accounting
* Good understanding of corporate IT finance management
* Knowledge of the IFRS procedures
* Relevant experience to make this position a succes in a very short amount of time
