PRINCIPAL ENGINEER
My client designs, builds and manufactures state of the art satellite systems commercially and for the MOD.
They require engineers for the STF test programme.
Your task will include the integration of the Yahsat sub systems into one complete system, running tests from test procedure documents, fault finding, fault reporting with debug information, fault solution testing and support to field personnel in the United Arab Emirates.
Must be capable of working on your own and also be able to liaise with other departments and teams on technical issues.
Must be able to demonstrate a mixture of the following skills:-
CCNA/CCDA skill level engineer or Satcom experienced engineer with technical writing skills (this is a technical documentation role).
Experience with DOORS, Bug reporting tools such as Sprint, DDTS, Bugzilla, document control software such as ClearCase, Clearquest.
Must be willing to work extra hours as required, these may include evenings and weekends.
