Experis is recruiting for a Senior Computer Security Engineer for their client in Cincinnati, Ohio. Candidates must live close enough to Cincinnati to come for an in-person interview.

Description: Provide computer security engineering through all phases of the Technology/Project Life Cycle. The Computer Security Engineer is responsible for the overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support.

Job Functions:
The Computer Security Engineer designs, implements/installs, maintains and administers infrastructure systems. The Teams in this area include:
Enterprise Desktop Engineering Services for client enterprise device platforms (desktops, laptops, software, browsers, software provisioning, asset management, anti-virus, kiosks, and mobile devices).
Definition and maintenance of Credant encryption infrastructure including data at rest and removable media encryption policies.
Maintenance of Symantec endpoint protection infrastructure including Antivirus, Antispyware, OS Patch, and DLP policies.
Maintenance of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) hardware, software, people, policies, and procedures needed to create, manage, distribute, use, store, and revoke digital certificates.
Develop plans to safeguard computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure and to meet emergency data processing needs.
Review violations of computer security procedures and discuss procedures with violators to ensure violations are not repeated.
Monitor current reports of computer viruses and spyware, set end point protection strategy, and maintain centralized infrastructure services.
Perform risk assessments and execute tests of data processing system to ensure functioning of data processing activities and security measures.
Work with Corporate Information Security to align security policy and best practices for end point protection, device encryption, personal Firewall settings, and digital certificate services.
Implementation and maintenance of Symantec ITMS 7.1 OS patch management strategy.
Train users and promote security awareness to ensure system security and to improve server and network efficiency.
Ensure adherence to architecture standards and roadmaps.
Design and successfully implement overall infrastructure/Middleware components per project with infrastructure teams, ensuring that overall solution is designed to meet SLA (performance and up-time), DR, and scalability needs required by the solution.
Follow appropriate change/release management practices.
Support and maintain infrastructure solutions utilizing required tools and technologies. Provide off-hours support (24 x 7) as required.

Skill and Experience Requirements:
Required:
Bachelors degree in IS or related equivalent work experience in an Information Systems position.
Proven communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organization.
5 or more years of experience in computer security engineering
GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) or equivalent security certification.
Passing score on a selected entry test for new hires. (Test selected based on position requirements.)

Desired:
Experience managing large multi-site computer security infrastructure
Device and systems management experience with large multi-site enterprise
Proven systems integrations and automation experience
